1. Acceptance
By accessing or using this website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
2. Scope
These Terms govern your use of this website only. The provision of freight forwarding, road transport, ocean freight, and warehousing services is governed by separate written agreements between Veteran Resources and its customers, including but not limited to bills of lading, transport contracts, warehousing agreements, and standard trading conditions.
3. Information accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate, but we make no warranty that it is error-free, complete, or current. Tracking results, transit times, route maps, and rate indications shown on this website are indicative only and do not constitute a binding offer or commitment.
4. Quotes and bookings
A quote requested through this website is not a contract until accepted in writing by an authorised representative of Veteran. All cargo movements are subject to our standard trading conditions, which will be provided alongside any binding quote.
5. Tracking
Tracking information displayed on this website is provided for convenience and is updated based on milestone events reported by our operations and partners. While we work to keep this accurate, we accept no liability for inaccuracies, delays, or unavailability of tracking data. The bill of lading and supporting documents are the authoritative record of any consignment.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, route maps, and code — is the property of Veteran Resources or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit this content without prior written consent.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veteran Resources shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website. Liability for cargo movements is governed by the relevant bill of lading and standard trading conditions, not by these website Terms.
8. External links
This website may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of those websites.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any dispute arising from or related to your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@veteranresourcesafrica.com.
Note: These are starter Terms for a website only. Standard trading conditions for actual cargo movements (covering liability for cargo, force majeure, demurrage, lien rights, jurisdiction, and so on) should be drafted by a qualified Zambian commercial lawyer with experience in freight forwarding — typically modelled on the FIATA standard trading conditions adapted to local law.
